Trey had an opportunity to spend the day with Granddad at his Atlanta office this Monday. You see, very soon, Granddad P will be retiring, so this time they had together was quite special.
Trey enjoyed meeting Granddad's work friends and learning about the "excellence" table in the lobby (above).
Of course, that meant Sammy and Mommy had an opportunity to visit the American Girl Store while the guys "worked!"

Wow. American girl. Samantha, you'll have to tell Eliza all about it. She's so pretty! Which one did you get?
Trey, what a cool idea to see your Granddad at work. Miles and Eliza's grandparents will all be retired by the time we arrive in June(!) - more time for us with them, but it is sad to have missed that interesting opportunity.
